Farewell

Hi Folks,

Yes it’s Minnesota photographers’ personal cheerleader again but this time she has some sad news. I am stepping down as president of MNPA. It’s actually pretty painful for me to let go. I still have so much I wanted to accomplish but it’s time. It’s time for a new president and new ideas. I can’t tell you how much fun it was to meet all of you. So many different people from all over the state and some folks right in town that I didn’t even know about. It was an honor meeting you and looking at your work year after year.

Thank you for your participation. Remember without you there is no organization. Speaking to that someone will need to take the reins. Someone will need to lead the MNPA. If you are interested please let me know. I’m not going anywhere so whoever decides to take this job they will have my support and the support of all the people that care about this organization.  You will not be alone.

Well thanks everyone for a fabulous time. Your former president but still your cheerleader,

Kyndell Harkness

Convention this weekend!

Hey folks,

Whew!! We have all been working really hard to make this weekend as fun as possible. Let me give you the highlights of convention.

Friday 6pm: CPOY judging

Saturday: POY judging and speakers during the day.

At night print auction and hot dish hoedown at the Mpls Photo Center. Bring

your favorite hotdish or something to pass around. Remember this is your party

bring what you want to have.

Sunday: Speakers. Here’s when you get to learn from our judges and see their work. Last

but not least we get down to the art of storytelling. I’m really looking forward to

that.

Got to: http://www.mnpa.org/convention-2/ if you have any questions.

I can’t wait you see you guys. Find out what you’ve been up to and have fun with you. So please come and participate. Remember your presence and participation makes us all stronger.

Your happy-go-lucky president,

Kyndell Harkness
