MNPA forums…

March 13, 2008

forums.jpgHey Everybody,
Our webmaster blaster Nathan Berndt has done it again. He’s created a forum page on the MNPA website. http://www.mnpa.org/forums/ Please go check it out and register. Remember when I was talking about how it’s important that MNPA is not just a contest. This is a piece to that puzzle. Our forum page is similar to others. General Discussions section is just that. Questions and comments about photography, the state of newspapers, the biz of photography, and our organizations are welcomed. Technique section should handle the nuts and bolts of being photographer. Lastly, the Share Your Work section. I think this will be very important for college students and those folks just starting out. If you need help with a crop, picture selection, portfolio help, help with a photo story, slide show or video project this is the place to post.

The other piece to the puzzle is that members have to use it. I know I must sound like a broken record but with our industry changing we need to keep each other informed, educated and enthusiastic. So please take advantage of the site. Ask questions. Help other photographers find solutions.

Also if you’ve had a great trip somewhere our a unique experience that you’d like to share please pass along your story and photos to either me or Nathan. We can use that as a post on the website.

Thanks for your time and patience. We are all working hard to make this thing work. If anyone has any suggestions or comments you can leave them on the forum post called Future of the MNPA. Hee hee. Take care and I’ll see ya at the convention.

Kyndell
