[VIDEO] Photojournalism before there were megapixels…
Former Star Tribune photojournalist and now educator Mike Zerby shot and edited this 18 minute video titled: “Photojournalism at the Star and Tribune” in 1992. Zerby used a Hi-8 and a Sony editing deck borrowed from Land-0-Lakes.
My first experience with video…
I don’t think video is exclusively the future of visual journalism at newspapers and their associated websites, but I do think it is another tool for telling stories in a particular medium.
I believe if you want to evolve as a photojournalist, you should seriously learn this craft sooner, rather than later.
